Morning Meltdown: Chris Brown Loses His Shirt and His Cool on 'GMA'

Morning Meltdown: Chris Brown Loses His Shirt and His Cool on 'GMA' Maybe a few more counseling sessions are in order for singer Chris Brown.

This morning the artist stopped by "Good Morning America" for a sit down with journalist Robin Roberts. Brown was intending on promoting his new album F.A.M.E. which hits stores today.

During the chat Roberts asked direct questions about Brown's unfortunate incident with then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

"Is it a big milestone, having your restraining order relaxed?" Roberts asked. Brown responded, "It's not really a big deal to me now as far as that situation, you know I think I'm past that in my life and today is the album day so that's what I want to focus on..."

Roberts continued to probe and bring conversation back to the domestic dispute and tattooed singer repeatedly attempted to keep his cool and bring the focus back to his music.

After the interview, however, Brown was unable to keep it together. Sources from ABC tell E! the singer "went absolutely ballistic" backstage, ripping his shirt off, swearing and throwing furniture - even smashing a window.

Police were not called to the studio, probably best for Brown as he is still on probation.

After the interview Roberts went on Twitter to share some words on what transpired saying, "Sure has been an interesting AM @GMA. Still sorting thru everything myself. Just my 2nd day on twitter, wonder what tomorrow will bring?"

Do you think Chris Brown should continue to take the heat for the crime or has the singer done his time?
