by Maggie GraingerChloe Sevigny has signed on to star in the new A&E show, 'Those Who Kill'.
Based on a Danish television series, the show will follow Sevigny's character - Catherine - a dectective who can get inside the mind of serial killers.
Sevigny has been a steady presence on the small screen in the past few years. She currently stars in the super creepy FX show, American Horror Story: and played Mormon sister wife Nicolette Grant on HBO's Big Love from 2006-2011.
According to A&E's website, the series is "about violent criminals who are surrounded by fear and mystique - the serial killer. When murders are not grounded in traditional motives and patterns of behavior, its takes a very particular kind of person to catch the serial killer; someone who knows and understands the killer's dark side and the fantasies that plague him. Someone like the two leads characters - a police detective that is trying to understand her own mysterious personal connection in the mind of a serial killer, a 'profiler' (forensic psychiatrist), who both in very different ways possess a deep psychological understanding that connects them to the killer's victims, and to the killer himself, driving them to pursue each case to end of the line, again and agin."
