Childhood Dreams Crushed: Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar) is Engaged!

So many dreams crushed lately... first, Ryan Gosling knocked up Eva Mendes, which was a blow to both sides, and now the childhood crush of many is removing herself from the market!

Danica McKellar (better known as your childhood crush Winne Cooper of "The Wonder Years") has announced her engagement to boyfriend Scott Sveslosky. The petite actress took to Instagram to make the announcement - check out the picture of her ring below!

"So... can you guess what my big news is?" she captioned it.

"Yep, my amazing boyfriend Scott & I are engaged!! (He's the one @iamvalc did a shout out to on #DWTS) :) Hugs to you all!" she tweeted as a follow-up on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old is referring to Val Chmerkovskiy on "Dancing With the Stars." During a rehersal he expressed appreciation that McKellar's mysterious man allowed him to partner with the beauty. McKellar also mentioned him several times on the show.

McKellar and Sveslosky intend to wed later this year, say reports. No time to waste, apparently!

McKellar has a 3-year-old son named Draco from a previous marriage to Mike Verta, from 2009 to 2012, with their divorce finalized in 2013. Sveslosky also has a son, 10-year-old Hunter from a previous marriage.

Sloveslosky is a partner at a law firm.
