Cheryl Hines Marries Robert Kennedy Jr.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" actress Cheryl Hines has married the son of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of assassinated President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy is also a skilled environmental lawyer and activist.

The two made it official on Saturay before friends and family in a gathering at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port on Cape Cod.

Hones wore a strapless Romona Keveza Collection dress. Keveza noted in a press release that Hines "continues the Kennedy legacy of iconic women with timeless style."

Hines credits her "Curb Your Enthusiasm" co-star Larry David for introducing her to Kennedy. He introduced them two years in a row, first at a ski resort in Alberta and the following year in Utah. The third time they met, in Colorado, Hines realized how funny Kennedy could be, and recalls being surprised.

"People in my circle tend to look at people in politics as boring."

When both were in a position to date again (at the time, Kennedy was separated and Hines married), Kennedy went to David for advice. David told him, "She's the most solid person I've ever met, and the most beloved person among her peers. Nothing you ever do will rattle her."

Kennedy notes he has "never seen Cheryl do anything that seemed small or selfish," adding, "She has as much integrity as anyone I've ever seen."

The two announced their engagement in April.
