Will Cher Or Won't Cher Attend A 'DWTS' Taping?

Will Cher Or Won't Cher Attend A 'DWTS' Taping? In light of the backlash, will Cher be dropping by "Dancing with the Stars" and rooting on her son Chaz Bono's inspired hoofing?

The answer? Definitely . . . maybe.

"DWTS" producers, ABC executives and Bono himself have caught hell ever since last week's announcement that Bono would participate in the 13th season as the show's first-ever transgender contestant.

The only child of Cher and the late Sen. Sonny Bono was born Chastity Bono but in 2010, after officially outting herself as a lesbian since 2005, legally changed his name to Chaz and had his gender successfully surgical reassigned.

Bono's participation has been publicly supported both by his pro partner Lacey Schwimmer and producers in the face of many right-wing groups and fans claiming that putting Bono in a prime-time spotlight is forcing a pro-transgender message on viewers.

But now, Cher has set the record straight publicly through representative Liz Rosenberg and said that her son has her 100-percent support.

Problem is, she has a bone to pick with TMZ over their story that she'll publicly appear at a show taping in support of Chaz.

Rosenberg claims she doesn't plan to attend a taping. TMZ claims that a Cher friend confirms she'll be there, but won't indicate which taping so that she can keep her attendance low-key.

“I support him no matter what he chooses 2do! God! will there always be haters! It took COURAGE 2 do dwts! TG Chaz has an unlimited supply,” the angry Mama-Bear Cher has tweeted since Chaz's participation was announced. "Mothers don't stop getting angry with stupid bigots who [expletive] with their children!"
