Chelsea Handler Says Republicans Responsible for Texas Church Shooting
by EG
When it was announced last month that Chelsea, the Netflix talk show hosted by Chelsea Handler, would end after its current season, Handler said she was leaving the show to devote more time to her activism. At the time, it sounded like that "I want to spend more time with my family" excuse that politicians and executives use when they're fired. But it looks like Handler was serious about being an even more vocal activist than she's always been. She showed off her provocative chops this weekend on Twitter, where she blamed American Republicans for Sunday's mass shooting at a Texas church.

Chelsea Handler tweeted that Republicans are responsible for the mass shooting at a Texas church Sunday morning.
Innocent people go to church on Sunday to honor their God, and while doing so, get shot in killed. What country? America. Why? Republicans.

I don't know how these poor people are supposed to accept that their government watches these mass shootings and does nothing. It's so sick.

“Innocent people go to church on Sunday to honor their God, and while doing so, get shot in killed. What country? America. Why? Republicans,” the actress tweeted Sunday afternoon.
Devin Kelley, 26, walked into First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas during the 11:30 service and started shooting, killing at least 25 and injuring over a dozen more. He was gunned down by police after a chase.
