Chelsea Handler Posts Her Boobs on Instagram, Compares Herself to Putin, Then Quits Instagram

Chelsea Handler Posts Her Boobs on Instagram, Compares Herself to Putin, Then Quits Instagram Don't tell Chelsea Handler where she can and can't post her boobs, or she'll get political on you.

The comedian posted an Instagram pic of herself riding a horse topless, comparing herself to a similar photo of Vladimir Putin. Not only is it a funny juxtaposition, Handler also set out to make a point: why are men allowed to post themselves shirtless while women aren't?

"Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better #kremlin," Handler wrote for the photo's caption.

Instagram removed the photo, and Handler simply posted it again, this time with the caption, "Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin."

That didn't do it, as Instagram once again removed the photo. After a little more derision toward the photo sharing site, Handler tried the photo one more time. "If instagram takes this down again, you're saying Vladimir Putin Has more 1st amendment rights than me," she wrote. "Talk to your bosses."

Instagram removed the photo a third time.

That was enough for Handler, who promptly shut down her Instagram account. "You can now find my dogs and my breasts on Twitter only where my followers have the right to choose what they say," she wrote. "Bye bye instablock."

Though Handler doesn't seem to fully grasp the concept of the First Amendment, she is part of a larger movement calling itself #FreeTheNipple that aims to allow women to have the same rights as men on photo-sharing sites like Instagram or Facebook that don't consider shirtless males as inappropriate, but do for shirtless females. Rumer Willis is another big supporter, and Rihanna famously had a similar issue with Instagram earlier this year.

For Handler, being naked seems to be a non-issue. In her recent Netflix special, Handler coaxed some laughs out of the audience by showing pictures of her in various states of undress for comedic effect.

So, let it be known: If you want to see Chelsea Handler's boobs, head over to Twitter, not Instagram.
