Check Out the New Spaced-Out Stage Setup for 'The Voice'

Man, "The Voice" took off fast, huh? One second it was just a standard-issue "American Idol" contender, and before you know it, it's pulling in over 10 million viewers each week and is set to follow next year's Super Bowl. It's only been on for about a month and a half and is already inescapable.

Tonight, NBC will air the first live show of "The Voice," and they've built them a brand new, very shiny set to go with it.

Entertainment Weekly brings us the first look. The show airs tonight at 9:00 PM on NBC.

Reminds me more of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" or "Speed Racer" than any TV set I've ever seen. If all those lights start blinking at once, they'll have to issue seizure warnings!

Because "The Voice" has become a ratings juggernaut for the network, NBC has increased the number of live shows (have to justify the cost of that set after all!), and the show will run through June 29th.

What's on tap for tonight? Well, you'll have to wait and see, but as we previously reported, coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton are readying a Queen medley that will include "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You," and "We Are the Champions." Because, after all, playing "We Will Rock You" demands the "We Are the Champions" follow-up, for...some reason.

The rest? You'll have to wait 'til tonight at 9 to find out. Hey, this is live TV we're talking about, they're not just going to give it all away for free.
