Check Out the 'Jersey Shore' Season Four Cast Portrait; New Episodes Start August 4th

The producers of "Jersey Shore" have done an exceptional job of keeping the cast in the 24 hour-news cycle since they wrapped up season three, and today is no different. In the last couple weeks alone, Vinny stormed off and had left the show for good, then he returned. Then The Situation took his turn.

The cast has had run-ins with authorities in two different countries, been sued, torn each other apart, even lambada'ed with shrubbery.

If we weren't such keen-eyed reporter types, we might begin to think we in the media were being manipulated, and that some of this controversy was being manufactured for ratings. Nah. Not possible.

Anyway, those "Jersey Shore" kids sure have been keeping busy. Somewhere along the line, though, they managed to take an official cast photo of the entire crew stomping through the streets of Florence. MTV released the photo below, and it looks like maybe someone should by Snooki some new shoes.

Guess they had to do something to earn that $100k per episode. Season four of "Jersey Shore" starts on MTV August 4th.
