Charpocalypse Now: Watch Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen Parody 'Apocalypse Now'

Charpocalypse Now: Watch Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen Parody 'Apocalypse Now' The horror. The horror.  Charlie Sheen and his father Martin teamed up for an extraordinary trailer to the upcoming "Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen," airing opposite the premiere of CBS's new Sheen-free "Two and a Half Men."

For the trailer, the two spoof the classic Vietnam War film from Francis Ford Coppola, "Apocalypse Now," working with the director's son Roman (with whom Charlie Sheen will be working on an upcoming project) to approximate the original film frame by frame (only with hot tubs and strippers and...well...well you get the drift).

There's no doubt Charlie looks like his father Martin did decades ago while filming "Apocalypse Now."

He's certainly got that Kurtz-like crazy gleam in his eye, and his cadence is eerily similar to Kurtz's off-the-chain, hard-it-up-to-hear rant-voice as well. Come to think of it, this whole Charlie Sheen meltdown sort of makes sense now.

The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen runs September 19th on Comedy Central.
