Charlie Sheen Helping With Funeral Costs of Deceased Paparazzo
by Shannon KeirnanCharlie Sheen has been all kinds of a good guy lately. The “Anger Management” star not only gave Lindsay Lohan a cool $100,000 to help her pay off her tax bills, he’s now donating $12,000 to the family of the paparazzo who was killed trying to snap that perfect shot of Justin Bieber, Chris Guerra. The money will help cover funeral costs.
Guerra was killed while crossing Sepulveda Blvd in Los Angeles. Apparently Guerra was a friend of Sheen’s. Sheen released this statement:
"A tragic incident like this erases the line between the photographer and the subject. It's an unforgiving moment that begs us all to be human and work as one to prevent this in the future. As parents, we are all not supposed to bury our children. My deepest condolences to the families involved."
Recently, Sheen also donated a large sum to help the family of a 10-year-old cancer patient.
Sheen was taking to a Hermosa Beach police officer when he found out that the man’s daughter was battling Alveoler Rhabdomyosarcoma, and undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.
Sheen sent the family $75,000 to help cover little Jasmine’s medical bills.
His good gesture even inspired his stunt double, Eddie Braun, to get involved. Braun added another $25,000 to the pot.
“No parent should have to watch their kid go through that,” Sheen said of his donation.
Wow. So are Sheen’s hookers and tiger blood days behind him? He’s certainly stepping forward to be one of the more generous celebrities in Hollywood… at least on a personalized basis.
Note to self: arrange to “run into” Sheen, with a perfected sob story.
All joking aside, good for him. No doubt the Faulk family, and the Guerro family… and maybe Lindsay Lohan sort of… are truly appreciative.
