Charlie Sheen Has Joined Twitter, Run For Your Lives!

Charlie Sheen must be tired of going around to all these interviews in order to continue his offical Week of Crazy. Why go out to show the world that you've gone off the deep end when you can just do it at home (or in a hotel room with a bunch of pornstars)? In this day and age, all you need to do to announce your inner-most thoughts about tiger blood is join Twitter.

That's exactly what Sheen did today: you can follow him @charliesheen. As of 6:50pm ET, he already he has over 160,000 followers (and counting...the numbers go up every minute).

And before you ask, the answer is yes, it's really him. He's verified by Twitter at least, and that's generally a good enough reason to believe that anyone is who they say they are. Sheen might have been the most quickly verified Twitter user ever, having just joined hours earlier.

So, what was Sheen's first tweet? It came after a long silence at 6:44pm ET, and was a TwitPic of himself and porn starlet Bree Olsen holding up bottles of Nakéd brand smoothie and chocolate milk, with the caption, "Winning..! Choose your Vice..."

Quick question: Charlie Sheen joined Twitter about an hour ago, and he already knows how to post a TwitPic? Bree must have helped him.
