Celebrity April Fools: Who Got Us? The Best of the Day!

Celebrities love their April Fools pranks just as much as we do… so who had the best on the Internet yesterday? You vote!

Here are the contestants:

Former “Jersey Shore” star Snooki  took to her blog to share a photo of her unexpected wedding.

“Jionni and I eloped ... here's a pic of the magical day!" she captioned an altered photograph of her and her man-friend locked in a post-wedding embrace.

If you couldn’t tell by first gaze that it was just a joke, Snooki later added "APRIL FOOLS ya freaks!! My a** is gonna have a huge wedding lets be serious lololol"

Justin Bieber tweeted to fans: “as promised am taking all fan phone calls TODAY at (888) 847 9869. Talk to u soon!”

However the more gullible (and optimistic) of his almost 37 million followers were disappointed to find that the number lead them to the TMZ tip line. Bieber later removed the tweet, but TMZ may find themselves with a very expensive phone bill for their toll-free number.

Director Bryan Singer managed to fool us all when he posted on his Twitter page:

“I can finally announce @ladygaga is joining #XMenDaysofFuturePast as Dazzler. One of my all-time favorite characters. Can’t wait!”

Though Lady Gaga is indeed stretching her acting chops by appearing in the Robert Rodriguez sequel “Machete Kills,” her representatives denied that she had any involvement in the film.

Too bad, say some—looks-wise, it’s not a bad casting option.

On the less inspired side there’s Lindsay Lohan, who tweeted “It’s official. Pregnant…” Unfortunately for the star with the bad reputation, people took her pretty seriously.

Michelle Trachtenberg also tweeted “I’m getting MARRIED!!!” Snore.

Boxer and “Hangover” actor Mike Tyson alarmed fans when he tweeted “#GoodbyeMikeTysonTattoo.” Just kidding though. Tyson later clarified that it was just a joke and added “This tattoo is with me forever.”

Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham joined in the fun by tweeting “Big day for Sophie & I :) Were adopting a baby brother , Sophia is super excited xo! Adopting is a #blessing.”

Yes, it is, but luckily it was just a hoax in this case.

Star Trek” alum George Takai had fans in a tizzy when he posted a Facebook photo of himself in Jedi regalia.

"Friends, I am thrilled to announce that I'll be starring in the Star Wars reboot directed by JJ Abrams. I'll be playing Master Ceti Maru, a member of the Jedi High Council,” he noted. “The new film, entitled ‘Star Wars: Galactic Empire,’ is greenlit and will begin filming sometime early next year. It is truly a moment for The Star Alliance. Thanks to all my fans for their decades of support."

Unfortunately… awesome, but not true.

And finally we have Seth Rogen, who posted a video (along with James Franco, Danny McBride, and Jonah Hill) that appeared to be a very low-budget sequel to “Pineapple Express.”

The video is actually to promote “This is the End,” an Armageddon film, in case you got a little too excited.

So who had the best joke of the day?
