'H2 Oh My Gosh': How Much Would You Pay for Your Favorite Celeb's Tap Water?

'H2 Oh My Gosh': How Much Would You Pay for Your Favorite Celeb's Tap Water? Everything is better famous, according to the UNICEF Tap Project.

Which is why their newest campaign, geared towards raising money for clean water projects, is prepared to give you a “famousness overload.”

One lucky winner, upon a $5 donation, will receive the Ultimate Deluxe Platinum Tap Pack that includes bottles of tap water from real celebrities “more famous than you.”

The campaign pokes fun at the concept of luxury water and features famous faces like Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Robin Williams, Taylor Swift, Adrian Grenier, and Dwight Howard.

It’s "H2 Oh my gosh," the site explains. As UNICEF says, celebrity participation can help us think more about something we consume without giving much though towards its value and need.

“Celebrity involvement can highlight the value of safe, clean water, which most of us consume every day without thinking twice,” said Caryl Stern, president and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. “It can galvanize the support needed to help children who are forced to gamble with their lives every time they take a drink of water. Every day more than 4,000 children die from water-related diseases. Just one dollar provides 40 days of clean drinking water to a child in need.”

Since 2007, The Tap Project has raised more than $2.5 million for clean water projects.
