Casey Abrams Returning to 'American Idol'...with Jack Black!

Casey Abrams may be gone from the competition, but pretty soon he'll be getting one more chance to sing on the "American Idol" stage. Abrams visited Ellen DeGeneres on her show on Friday, where she told him that he would be performing on stage during the "American Idol" finale.

Not only that, but Abrams will be performing alongside Jack Black. Black is probably best known for his movie roles, but he got his start in his comedy rock band Tenacious D.

Black and his buddy Kyle Gass can totally rock out, so Casey should be a nice addition. In fact, Casey might have some trouble keeping up with them! But at least he has the proper beard going.

So, not only did Abrams receive a save from the "Idol" judges to keep him from leaving the first time but he's also getting another chance to come back and sing during the finale. Just how many second chances is this kid going to get?

Abrams and Jack Black aren't the only ones taking the stage for the finale. Steven Tyler will be stepping out from behind the judge's table and performing a number with Aerosmith, as we learned last week. That news came just after Jennifer Lopez performed on the show as well, promoting her new single.
