Carrie Underwood Developing TV Show Based On Her Song 'Two Black Cadillacs'

Carrie Underwood Developing TV Show Based On Her Song 'Two Black Cadillacs' Country singer, "American Idol" winner and new mom Carrie Underwood is about to drive two black Cadillacs right onto the TV screen.

Jerry Bruckheimer is producing a television series based on Underwood's hit song "Two Black Cadillacs," according to a report from E!. The show, which will have the same title as the song, will basically follow the plot of the song/music video, only, y'know, a little longer than the five or six minutes that the music video runs.

The six-episode miniseries of the hour-long drama will follow two women, a wife and a mistress, who find out about their two-timing husband/boyfriend and decide to take revenge and kill him. So, think "The Other Woman," only with more murdering and less Kate Upton.

No word yet as to whether Underwood is attached to star, but we're guessing that with a baby on the way, she's probably not. Plus, considering the reviews Underwood got for her acting when the "The Sound of Music Live!" experiment happened on NBC, execs might not be willing to take the chance.

At first, a TV series based on a song might sound like a stretch. But Jerry Bruckheimer has produced mega-hits like "CSI" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, the latter of which was based on a damn theme park ride, so why not? Bruckheimer also produces "The Good Wife," so the whole cheating husband plot is familiar territory.

By the way, Bruckheimer is also producing the upcoming "Bad Boys 3," "National Treasure 3" and "Top Gun 2" assuming those all actually get into production. We're not sure how much money Bruckheimer makes. But it's a lot.
