Carole Baskin, star of Netflix's Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, won't be going on to fame as a professional dancer, it seems. Baskin was eliminated from the competition on Dancing with the Stars this week, after just a couple of performances. Her appearance on the show was marked by controversy, as the family of her murdered husband, who have sued Baskin for defamation, protested her inclusion in the competition. Read on for details.

Not even a Simba-inspired Samba could save Carole Baskin on “Dancing with the Stars.”
The polarizing “Tiger King” star, 59, was eliminated during Monday’s “Disney Night” episode of the ABC competition series, as judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli opted to save Anne Heche and partner Keo Motsepe over Baskin and Pasha Pashkov.
Baskin and Pashkov received the lowest scores of the evening — a total of 12 out of 30 — after dancing in catsuits to “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.” Nev Schulman of “Catfish” and figure skater Johnny Weir received the highest scores of the night, each nabbing a 24 out of 30.
Appearing Tuesday on “Good Morning America,” Baskin said she was “so thankful” for the opportunity.
“It will be hard to leave the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ crew, especially Pasha, he has been so wonderful,” Baskin said.
Baskin’s time on “Dancing with the Stars” was marred with controversy, as she has been sued for defamation by the family of her missing ex-husband, Don Lewis.
