'Cake Boss' Arrested, Charged with DUI

'Cake Boss' Arrested, Charged with DUI This is likely to leave a bitter taste in Buddy Valastro's mouth.

Valastro, who is best known as the star of the pastry-based TLC reality show "Cake Boss," has been arrested and charged with a DUI.

Valastro was pulled over while allegedly driving drunk in New York City early this morning around 12:30am, according to an NYPD report. He was reportedly driving north on 10th Avenue and swerving around enough to warrant a stop from police.

Police said that Valastro was flushed and unsteady on his feet when he was asked to step out of his car, and failed a sobriety test and breathalyzer. Later, police determined that Valasto had a 0.09 BAC, just over the legal limit of 0.08 in New York.

The reality star was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated and released. He'll reappear in court in early January.

TLC hasn't responded to requests for comment, so it doesn't look like this will affect the show at all. The sixth season of "Cake Boss" finished up back in February, and the show was not filming at the time of the incident.
