Lie Hard: Bruce Willis' Daughter, Scout Willis, Arrested for Drinking with Fake ID
by Andy NeuenschwanderConsidering how many times Bruce Willis has played a cop, I'll give this a solid 5 on the Irony Meter. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Scout Willis was arrested in New York City on Monday evening for violating open container laws, among other offenses.
Willis, who is currently 20 years old studying at Brown University, was caught drinking a beer in public, which violates open container laws. To make matters worse, when the police asked for Willis' ID, she presented a fake one in an attempt to pass herself off as Katherine Kennedy. Whoever that is.
Obviously the cops weren't amused by this, and Willis was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors: one for the open container, and another for criminal impersonation.
To her credit, Willis did end up presenting her real ID and coming clean about who she was after presenting the fake ID. And she was found drinking an 8-ounce beer (from Pakistan, oddly enough), which isn't much. Obviously Willis broke the law, but do you think she should have really been arrested, or should the cops have let her off with a warning?
I don't imagine you want to get on Bruce Willis' bad side either, so good luck to Scout in dealing with her father. Then again, with the busy year Bruce is having, he might not have time to even reprimand his daughter: he appears in a whopping six movies this year, including "The Expendables 2," "Moonrise Kingdom" and time-travel thriller "Looper." He would have appeared in seven if "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" hadn't been pushed back to 2013.
What do you think? Did Scout get what she deserved, or were the cops too hard on her?
