Bruce Willis Could Be in 'Expendables 3' After All
by EGAs so often happens with celebrities, Sylvester Stallone may be tweeting too impulsively. Lionsgate, the studio behind "The Expendables 3," is suggesting that Stallone's recent Twitter announcement that Bruce Willis won't be appearing in the film could be premature.
According to The Wrap, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer says, on the question of Willis's casting, that "you just never know."
Willis had reportedly been asking for $4 million for four days of shooting on the film. Stallone's tweet on Aug. 6 called Willis's behavior "greedy and lazy" and seem to make it clear that Willis was no longer going to be part of the "Expendables" franchise.
Feltheimer's comment suggests that even if Stallone is happy to bid farewell to Willis, the studio might still hope that the two actors will come to an agreement and that Willis will stick around for "The Expendables 3."
The news of Willis's departure came in conjunction with the announcement that Harrison Ford would be joining the cast of the third film in the franchise. The movie's all-star cast already tentatively includes Nicolas Cage, Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Milla Jovovich and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.
