Bruce Jenner Appears as Caitlyn Jenner for First Time in Vanity Fair

Bye bye Bruce...hello Caitlyn Jenner!

The "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" star formerly known as Bruce Jenner appeared this week on the cover of Vanity Fair to reveal her new look and new name: Caitlyn.

As we learned from the interview with Diane Sawyer several weeks ago, the woman formerly known as Bruce had been transgender her whole life. She struggled with gender identity even as she was held up as a masculine figure during her time as an Olympic athlete.

At the time of the interview, Bruce was still going by Bruce, was still using the masculine pronoun, and was keeping this new identity a bit of a secret. But with today's reveal, Caitlyn hopes to not have any of those secrets anymore.

"If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life.'" Caitlyn told the magazine in the interview accompanying her photo shoot.

Caitlyn also has a new Twitter account to go with her new name, @Caitlyn_Jenner, and sent her first tweet today. "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self," she wrote. "Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."

We have to say, Caitlyn looks stunning in her first photo shoot. Check out the cover photo below:
