Brody Jenner: Closer With Caitlyn Jenner Than Bruce

Brody Jenner, son of (formerly Bruce) Caitlyn Jenner, has come forward to say that Caitlyn's transition has made a positive impact on their relationship.

"I've known Bruce for a long time and I didn't really get along with Bruce," says Brody, Caitlyn's son with Linda Thompson. "Caitlyn and I get along a little more, because Caitlyn is actually who she really is and she's living her life finally now as the person she actually was."

Brody, whose new show "Sex With Brody" will premiere on E! July 10, went on to say,  "Caitlyn is a much freer, happier person and I think that's very special. I think that the most important thing is that people who are in that situation, don't be afraid to be yourself. Be yourself. And if you're not accepted by your family, there will be people who will accept you."

He's not the only Jenner child to welcome a new relationship with Caitlyn. We may only think of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" clan when we think of Caitlyn, but she had four other children before marrying Kris Jenner in 1991.

Said Cassandra Marino, Caitlyn's daughter with Chrystie Scott, "My relationship with Caitlyn is much better than with Bruce, but we still have a lot of work to do. We didn't talk for years, and now we see each other every couple of weeks and talk on the phone, which I am grateful for."

Brother Burt Jenner also expressed hope that starting fresh with Caitlyn was an option. "I have high hopes that Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce. I'm very much looking forward to that."

And Brandon Jenner has also been supportive. Brandon said, "In seeing [her] come out to me and explain [her] true self, I was more proud right then to carry the last name Jenner, to be a part of the family, than at any time before."

Will the Jenner family reunite? With Caitlyn's new show "I am Cait" airing July 26 on E!, maybe we will get to see.
