'Breaking Bad' Sequel Starring Jesse Pinkman in Alaska Confirmed by Aaron Paul? Not So Fast...

Don't toy with our emotions, Jesse Pinkman!
"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul pulled a seemingly harmless prank on fans today as he invited them to a chat over the Periscope app, where he revealed that Vince Gilligan was on board to do a sequel to "Breaking Bad" featuring Jesse Pinkman.
The series, Paul said, would follow Jesse as he escaped to Alaska, where many fans think he went after the end of "Breaking Bad." Fans have theorized that the "Breaking Bad" franchise will actually be a trilogy of series, with "Better Call Saul" acting as a prequel in the series and a Pinkman-centered series tying up any loose ends.
However, the whole thing turned out to be a prank. "Sorry for the joke everybody," Paul tweeted after fans chastised him on Twitter for getting their hopes up before crushing them. "I love you all so much. Hugs and kisses."
It looks like fans will just have to settle for the (still excellent) "Better Call Saul" for now, which has been renewed for a second season and will return in 2016.
