'Breaking Bad' in Bed: Is This How 'Breaking Bad' Ends?

As AMC prepares to roll out the final three episodes of "Breaking Bad," the ultimate fate of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman is as hazy as ever, although with the conclusion of last week's episode, the pair seems to be getting into ever more perilous situations. But as fans continue to speculate about the story's conclusion, the cast is having fun playing with the possibilities.

Last week, Aaron Paul, who plays Pinkman, posted a photo on Instagram that shows his character, White (Bryan Cranston) and White's wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) lounging in bed, all of them apparently unclothed. It could be a tease of an upcoming development on the show, but it's probably just a document of some behind-the-scenes on-set shenanigans that proves we can't believe everything we see on Instagram (Justin Bieber probably isn't going to play Robin in the next Batman movie, either). But, as with every viral joke on the internet, some fans fell for it.

The final episode of "Breaking Bad" will air on AMC on Sept. 29. Ratings for the series' last handful of episodes have remained strong, hovering in the vicinity of 5 million viewers per episode, and after losing the night to the MTV awards show on Aug. 25, "Breaking Bad" has been the top-rated program on Sundays for the past two weeks in a row.
