Bravo Special to Rank Pop Culture in 'The Approval Matrix'

Bravo Special to Rank Pop Culture in 'The Approval Matrix' Bravo’s special “The Approval Matrix” will debate what’s hot and what’s not in pop culture during the week of its February 16th airdate.

The concept is based on the back page feature in New York Magazine, and will feature a host (Faith Salie) and three panelists who rank the news into the magazine’s hierarchical system: Highbrow Brilliant, Highbrow Despicable, Lowbrow Brilliant and Lowbrow Despicable.

Faith Salie has previously been seen in Bravo’s improvisational sitcom, “Significant Others.”

She’s also appeared on “Sex and the City,” and is known for her role as Sarina Douglas on “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”

Among pop culture credits, the actress-comedian-radio host has been seen commentating on pop-culture on several VH-1 programs and occasionally on NPR’s “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!”

A recent look at the magazine’s Approval Matrix, places: “Why was ‘Black Swan’ only on like three screens in the entire city for so long?” on the Highbrow Despicable Side, and “SrIracha Mayo” (found on the Schnitzel food truck) on the Lowbrow Brilliant.
