Bradley Cooper on 'American Horror Story'? Don't Count On It.

The Hollywood gossip mongers were all aflutter late last week when Bradley Cooper and Laday Gaga were spotted - very conspicuously and very intentionally - riding a motorcycle and going out to dinner together. What could it mean? Some rumor perpetrators suggested that maybe Gaga was trying to talk Cooper into appearing in the sixth season of American Horror Story. That, however, is perhaps the least likely reason that the pair were out together.
Gaga appeared as The Countess in season five of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series, and she's confirmed that she'll be back for the series' sixth season. Cooper, on the other hand, has a very solid big-screen career going right now, and it's difficult to imagine that he'd be willing to switch to series television, even if Gaga had enough creative control over American Horror Story to be making job offers on its behalf.
A more likely-to-be-true rumor concerns a remake of A Star Is Born, an upcoming Warner Bros. project that will be Cooper's directorial debut. Cooper certainly does have the authority to be making job offers for that project, and Gaga would be a reasonable, if quirky, choice for that story's female lead.
No matter what, though. American Horror Story will return in the fall, and Gaga will return, too, in an as-yet-unspecified role.
