Brad Pitt Struck in Face at 'Maleficent' Premiere

You do not mess around with Hollywood's Golden Couple.

A man identified as Vitalii Sediuk was arrested Wednesday, after jumping security barriers at the "Maleficent" premiere at El Capitan Theatre, and striking Brad Pitt in the face.

Sediuk was held by security guards until the LAPD brought him into custody. He is being held on $20,000 bail and was booked on suspicion on misdemeanor battery. No word on whether the strike was more of a punch or a slap, but either way, only a crazy fool would try to mess up Brad Pitt's super-famous face.

Pitt, unharmed, returned to signing autographs with his long-time love Angelina Jolie, the star of the film.

"This was an unfortunate and inapproriate incident that is being investigated by the LAPD," said a spokesperson for Disney.

It's not Sediuk's first run-in with celebrity trouble. The Ukranian TV presenter is known for the inappropriate and unexpected in "pranking" celebrities. Shortly before this incident, Sediuk was in Cannes sticking his head under America Ferrera's dress. Last year he crashed the Grammy Awards, where he was jailed overnight and banned after attempting to accept Adele's award for best solo performance.

He's also known for grabbing Leonardo DiCaprio inappropriately, groping Bradley Cooper, and trying to smooch Will Smith.

Maybe he should stick to kissing, and keep those fists away from the pretty and powerful.
