'Big Bang Theory' Stars Settle Wage Dispute, Now Make Ridiculous Amounts of Money

'Big Bang Theory' Stars Settle Wage Dispute, Now Make Ridiculous Amounts of Money Rest assured, "The Big Bang Theory" fans: Your show isn't going anywhere.

"Theory" stars Johnny Galeki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco have finalized their contracts for the top-rated CBS sitcom going forward, and their new salaries are nothing to sneeze at.

According to reports, the trio are now making $1 million per episode, which adds up to about $24 million per year. That makes them the highest-paid sitcom actors working today, and puts them on par with the cast of "Friends," who negotiated similar salaries at their show's peak.

Oh, and they also improved on their back-end deals, negotiating a higher cut of syndication payouts and bigger bonuses.

That more or less proves that CBS is willing to go to any length to keep the most-watched comedy on television running on their network. And well they should: "Big Bang" reruns on TBS also pull in huge numbers in syndication, bringing the network even more money.

Supporting players Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg have yet to negotiate their pay, but their co-stars' salaries could give them a point of reference for an easy leg up. Meanwhile, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik were already signed on for a new season and are not in negotiation.

Fun fact: Even with these raises, the "Big Bang" cast members still aren't the highest-paid TV stars. "Today" hosts Matt Lauer and Al Roker pull in about $25 million per year, while "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart pulls in between $25-30 million.

And the highest-paid TV star currently on television? That would be Judge Judy, who makes a whopping $47 million per year. Justice pays better than physics, we guess!
