Big Bang Divorce: Kaley Cuoco and Husband Split

Her character on The Big Bang Theory just got married, but Kaley Cuoco's real-life marital situation is not so happy. Cuoco announced this week, through a representative, that she and Ryan Sweeting, her husband of not quite two years, are splitting up.
Cuoco and Sweeting, a professional tennis player, married in a flashy New Year's Eve ceremony in 2013 after a courtship of only three months, and earlier this year, Cuoco had taken to social media to try to dispel rumors that the young marriage was in trouble.
"All of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger," she wrote on Instagram. "If you were smart, you would take a look at your own marriage, relationship, job etc, instead of focusing on someone else's."
Hints of the impending divorce also surfaced on social media. Before the announcement, Cuoco erased Sweeting from all of her accounts, deleting any photos that included him, and Sweeting wiped his Instagram and Facebook accounts totally.
The season premiere of The Big Bang Theory last week, in which Cuoco's character, Penny, finally married her long-time boyfriend, Leonard, was a big-time ratings success.
