Bieber Baby Mama Drama Continues: Singer Takes Paternity Test

While the evidence continues to mount that Mariah Yeater's paternity claim against Justin Bieber is less and less likely, the pop artist is clearly not taking any chances. Bieber reportedly took a paternity test on Friday before this weekend's American Music Awards in an effort to shut down paternity rumors once and for all.

Bieber reportedly took the test under tightly controlled and monitored circumstances in order to assure Yeater's lawyers couldn't claim faulty testing.

According to E!, which first reported the testing took place, "now all that's left is for Yeater to pony up a DNA sample from her 3-month-old son, Trystan. There has been no comment from her lawyer on whether that will happen anytime soon."

By the looks of it, this is all meant to make a lawsuit from Bieber more plausible.

After rumors circulated that she had made similar claims to an ex-boyfriend (and allegedly got violent in the process) Yeater was recently busted texting a friend some potentially incriminating statements:

"ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristan is Robbies son Ill kick you when we get paid."

Bieber's legal team responded by questioning the validity of the lawsuit.

"This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story," said Howard Weitzman, Bieber's lawyer.

"Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never meet Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media. There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be," said Weitzman.

This after Yeater's legal team officially dropped the lawsuit in San Diego County courts last week (though they claim that was due to death threats from Bieber fans). Her new legal team has claimed they will re-file the suit shortly.

Will Yeater ever come forward with DNA samples from her son Tristan? Will Bieber sue? Like a zombie circa "The Walking Dead," every time this story seems dead in the water, it re-surfaces, so don't count on it going away anytime soon.
