Bieber FTW at the CMT Music Awards

Bieber FTW at the CMT Music Awards Justin Bieber showed up last night looking decidedly un-country at the CMT Music Awards, accepting an award for "Best Collaborative Video" alongside Rascal Flatts. Bieber picked up the award for the song "That Should Be Me," the video that caused the Biebs to chop his locks, causing seismic shockwaves through the hearts of teen America.

He showed up for the ceremony with his mother Pattie Mallette on his arm instead of his usual date Selena Gomez.

"First of all, I just want to say how honored I am to be here ... with Rascal Flatts," Bieber said. "How amazing are Rascal Flatts, everybody? I want to thank my mom. I want to thank my family. And I want to thank Rascal Flatts for even jumping on the song with me."

Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus said, "Thank you to Justin Bieber for bringing us such a great song. ... It was an honor to be in this video with you. What a talented guy. We appreciate it so much."

Lead vocalist Gary LeVox joked, "Justin, thank you for letting us be part of the haircut that shocked the world."

The night's other big winners were Taylor Swift, who won for Video of the Year, and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton, who won the male video prize for "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking" and the best web video award for "Kiss My Country Ass."

Miranda Lambert (who is married to Shelton) won the female country video award for "The House that Built Me."
