Beyonce, Brad Paisley to Turn Up Heat NBC's Big July 4 Blow-Out

Beyonce, Brad Paisley to Turn Up Heat NBC's Big July 4 Blow-Out Just when this summer’s heat will be hitting its peak, NBC will dial it up a few more degrees with some serious Fourth of July star-power.

The Peacock Network announced today that joining the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at 9 p.m. ET on July 4 for some live mid-summer music will be Beyonce and Brad Paisley. The show's host will be NBC's "The Sing-Off" emcee Nick Lachey, who returns for a third season hosting the talent face-off this fall.

It’ll be perfect timing for Beyonce. Her latest album “4” will hit stores June 28. Her own accolades already include being named “Artist of the 2000s” by Billboard and netting a record-setting 16 Grammy Awards, on top of the 75 million records she’s already sold.

It hasn’t been a bad year for Paisley, either. He released his ninth studio album, “This is Country Music,” on May 24 with its title single and “Old Alabama” topping Billboard’s country charts. He’s already sold more than 12 million albums throughout his career and recorded 19 number-one hits.

It’s America’s 235th birthday, and Macy’s is celebrating this year with the theme “Gift Of Freedom,” which will include celebrating the Statue of Liberty’s 125th Anniversary with a display of 40,000 fireworks over New York’s Hudson river.
