A New Year's Baby for Music's Royal Couple? Beyonce and Jay-Z Start the Baby Countdown Beyonce and J-Zay are counting down towards the birth of their baby, as the clock nears 2012.

The New York Daily News reports that St. Luke's Roosevelt hospital staffers have been ordered to prepare the labor and delivery suite for a "celebrity VIP" - which means Beyonce, ready to go into labor any day now, could have a New Year's baby.

The outlet reports there are no clear signs of additional security within the hospital Thursday.

As the Knowles family continues to be seen shopping around the city, speculation grows that the due date is nearing. A tweet Beyonce made back in September puts the due date right about now-ish.

“Hello! It’s Sept. 23 ... Right now I’m actually shooting the video for ‘Countdown’ and I’m six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits.”

Let's see six months = September + 3 more months = a possible new baby for Jay Z and Beyonce right around the New Year.
