Beware the Spoilers: Final Four Words of 'Gilmore Girls' Become Public Knowledge This Week
by EG
If you're a diehard Gilmore Girls fan, you've spent nine years wishing you could find out the four words that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino wanted to end the show with. This week, those four words will be revealed, so if you aren't able to watch Netflix's revival of the series right away, you'll have to go into serious spoiler-defense mode.
The four-episode revival of the series debuts on Netflix on November 25, and it is, as far as we know, the final and definitive resolution of the show's plot lines and character stories. Most importantly, the revival has been created under the guidance of Sherman-Palladino, who was absent from the original series' final season.
Sherman-Palladino famously said years ago that she had had a plan for the series' ending, including the final four words that would be spoken. With the revival, she finally got the chance to write those four words into the script, bringing the series to an end exactly the way she'd envisioned.
That means that everyone you know is going to binge watch the revival as soon as it hits Netflix on Friday, and at least one of those people is going to let the words slip. If you've got other commitments to take care of before you watch, you're advised to proceed with caution.
