Best new show of fall 2010 is.....

The award for Jennifer's favorite new show of the fall 2010 television season goes to.....The Defenders!!!! Yes, those loveable old defense attorneys have won over my heart and made myself and my husband look forward to every Wednesday night on CBS when we can see what crazy new cases the guys might be taking on.
The Defenders centers around two defense attorneys played by Jim Belushi and Jerry O'Connell. Oh yeah and it's in Las Vegas, the city of sin. The duo is classic. The have great on screen chemistry and even the simplest look can send you into a laughing fest. It's the perfect blend of drama and comedy to keep you interested and watching.
The best thing is this could take place anywhere in the US, the backdrp of Vegas just makes it flashier and sexier but really you could transplant these guys to the middle of Nebraska and the show would still have legs because they carry it, not the background of the show. Bravo to the writers and actors for being able to pull this off because that is no easy feat. Many shows revolve around locale and while this one certainly uses it there is no reliance on the location.
If you haven't seen the show you should tune it, it's worth a viewing. The cases revolve around the everyday divorce to the bizarre robbery to the really strange, like defending a bear who is scheduled to be euthanized. There's heartfelt moments and then there's crazy mayham. It's just a purely "fun" show to watch.
