Famous in Love star Bella Thorne claims she was taking a stand for body confidence by prohibiting retouching of her nude photos for GQ Mexico magazine. We could argue that she achieves precisely the opposite effect by making a point that the photos of her virtually flawless body are unedited. Bella Thorne posed naked for a raunchy new photoshoot for GQ Mexico.
In the new spread, the former Disney star, 19, is seen taking off layers of her clothing around a grand mansion.
The set leads her from fully dressed in a bath to sitting on a chair in nothing but a pair of heels.
Thorne is sure to get pulses racing in several of the pics, which include her staring at a mirror over a fireplace wearing stockings and suspenders that flash her bare bum.
The star specifically requested that her stunning figure would not be airbrushed in a bid to promote body confidence.
“Lemme tell you I have insecurities, about pretty much everything. That’s natural & that’s human. You might look at this photo and think oh shush bella, but just know everytime someone looks in the mirror they simply don’t see what everyone else sees. Know that it’s completely normal to feel insecure and it’s accepted. honestly I wish everyone talked more about their insecurities so more people in the world could know they aren’t alone. That it’s ok,” she captioned a photograph from the shoot on her Instagram.
She then talked about her struggles of facing scrutiny in the limelight and added that she’s become used to “small retouches” in the photo edit after every shoot.
“If they show my acne scars or a wrinkle in my forehead or my teeth aren’t perfectly white, people will look at the photo and say ‘no she’s not perfect,’” she added. “And usually most people don’t want the public trashing and I get it.”
