Behind-The-Scenes Video Debuts For Starz's 'Spartacus: War Of The Damned'

Behind-The-Scenes Video Debuts For Starz's 'Spartacus: War Of The Damned' (WARNING! The following may contain some SPOILERS for previous seasons of Starz's "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" and "Spartacus: Vengeance." For those wanting to come into the series fresh, turn back now.)

Cameras have been rolling behind the rolling cameras currently filming Starz's "Spartacus: War Of The Damned." Now, Coming Soon has passed the making-of footage along to us all.

This time, it's really a look into the beginning of the end: the coming season - the third proper in its chronology - will be the show's last. In this final arc, Spartacus has begun to pose a threat to Rome following commander Gaius Claudius Glaber's defeat at the hands of the warrior and his men after the Battle of Vesuvius. His army's ranks have exceeded 30,000 in number.

The series was a roaring success following its January 22, 2010 debut with "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" - in no small part, due to star Andy Whitfield in the titular role. It was followed by the prequel, "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" on January 21, 2011. By March 2010, well before "Gods of the Arena," Whitfield had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He was replaced in the next season, "Spartacus: Vengeance," by Liam McIntyre on January 27, 2012. Whitfield succumbed to cancer on Sept. 11, 2011.

The new season debuts in January 2013.
