Brooklyn-based model and bachelorette Madison Garton explained to People Magazine why all of a sudden she’s no longer interested in becoming the Texas wife of “The Bachelor” Brad Womack and decided to leave in the midst of the reality show’s rose ceremony.

According to Madison, she realized that she doesn’t belong there, felt shaky and wrecked after her conversation with Ashley.

When asked if the Emily story motivated her to leave the reality show she replied, “It was definitely the Emily thing that set it off. When she came clean, it pulled on my heartstrings. I felt like I was competing for something I wasn’t necessarily sure I needed. You feel less deserving. They all have these stories and heartache and they need this love.”

Madison explained that it is not her style to fight other girls over a guy. According to her, she never felt or saw herself being a Texas wife to Brad Womack and she’s not sure if they will work as a couple. She also emphasized that Womack will have a hard time bringing her home to his grandmother.

The Brooklyn-based model also told People Magazine that her decision to exit happened so quick and she didn’t had enough time to talk to anybody.

According to her, she sat down with Brad for five minutes before the rose ceremony and immediately left without saying goodbye to anybody.

People also asked Garton if Brad and Emily don’t end up together, does she think she left for nothing?

Madison replied,“That was the fairytale ending. It doesn't have to be that way. Emily's a strong girl and she will make good for herself whether she ends up with him or the next bachelorette.”

Madison pointed out, “I still would have felt wrong being there.”
