'Bachelorette' Andi Dorfman Splits Up with Fiance Josh Murray
by Andy Neuenschwander
"The Bachelor" might be in full swing, but this former Bachelorette isn't having as much luck in love.
Andi Dorfman of "The Bachelorette" has reportedly split up with fiance Josh Murray. The two got engaged at the end of their run on last season of "The Bachelorette," when Andi chose Josh as the "winner."
"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," the couple said in an official statement.
"We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."
Oddly enough, the couple appeared together just a couple of days ago in a live red-carpet event preceding the premiere of the current season of "The Bachelor." In that appearance, the two were holding hands and talking about their future to host Chris Harrison, saying that they were "looking forward to just settling down."
But according to sources, there had been trouble between the couple for a while, and they decided to tough it out for the cameras in what would be their last on-camera appearance together as an engaged couple.
There have only been six couples that have had successful relationships and are still together today following their runs on "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette." Still up in the air is the relationship status of Juan Pablo Galvais and Nikki Ferrell, who appeared together on "Couple's Therapy." While the two haven't officially announced a split, they did unfollow each other on social media.
