See the New 'The Avengers' Promo Poster

Behold, fan-children! Your first proper chance to fuss pessimistically about an upcoming superhero movie!
Um, that came out wrong. What I meant, of course, was . . . check out the first publicly released promo poster for Marvel’s 2012 superhero team-up “The Avengers”!
The bad news was the announcement that Marvel would not attend this year’s San Diego Comic Con to promote this epic that’s been years in the planning and making.
The good news, is that they instead debuted this poster depicting Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) at the Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas.
The film is directed by creator of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel” and “Firefly” Joss Whedon and debuts March 4, 2012.
