Report: Ashton And Demi Had 'Intense' Fighting

It's been mere days since word broke Thursday that Demi Moore would be divorcing Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage, and already fans have learned more about the pair than they ever did during their relationship.

People.com, in a tease of a more in-depth tell-all article appearing in the magazine's upcoming issue, reports that the problems between Moore and the "Two and a Half Men" star went beyond Kutcher's alleged repeated infidelities this past year. Comments by unnamed sources suggest the pair had attempted counseling but couldn't get past deeper conflicts.

"Ashton's unhappy. Demi's unhappy. It just got to a point where they had to end it," one source told People.

"The fighting could get pretty intense," another source added. "Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix but could not get to the heart of the problem."

Reports began emerging shortly after Moore's Thursday statement to the Associated Press about her divorce that the pair enjoyed an open relationship, with Moore accepting Kutcher's numerous flirtations, but that Moore enjoyed the company of women as much as men and Kutcher wasn't meeting her every need.

Early signs pointed to Moore being exhausted after multiple stories surfaced starting this past September chronicling several trysts by Kutcher with other women while away from Moore's company. One allegedly took place on the pair's Sept. 24 six-year wedding anniversary at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, where Kutcher supposedly spent the evening in a hot tub with two women while Moore was away promoting a recently completed Lifetime original movie.

For what it's worth, People.com also reports that Kutcher apparently barely broke stride following the news; word is, he was right back to work on the "Two and a Half Men" set not long after getting the news that Moore was leaving him.

"I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi," Kutcher said. "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail."
