by Shannon Keirnan“The Office” may be ending, but that doesn’t mean fans have to say goodbye forever to John Krasinski.
The cutie who portrayed Jim for nine years on the show will be making a smooth transition out of and right back into television, popping up as a guest star on “Arrested Development.”
He’ll be participating in an unofficial tradition, as “Office” cast members Ed Helms, Phyllis Smith, Craig Robinson, and Brian Baumgartner have all shown up on “Arrested Development” over the years.
Krasinski will be joining plenty of other big-name guest stars for the new revival of “AD.” Conan O’Brien, Kristen Wiig, John Slattery, Seth Rogan, Isla Fisher, Andy Richter, Liza Minnelli, Ben Stiller, Carl Weathers, Scott Baio, and Ron Howard.
“The Office” series wraps up May 16, but after the big finale, look for season four of “AD” on Netflix (May 26) for your comedy fix. No word yet on who the 33-year-old will be playing on the show, or how many episodes of the 15 released he will appear in.
Recently, cast members of “Arrested Development” gathered in Los Angeles for the season premiere.
"It's so exciting," said Portia de Rossi, who plays sister Lindsay. "I've been waiting a long, long time."
"It was divine to put that hook back on," added Tony Hale, who plays Baby Buster. Jessica Walter, as Lucille, the Bluth family matriarch told fans, "Seven years in the waiting, as they say. I care about this show a lot. It meant a lot for me in my career.”
