Arnold Schwarzenegger Steps Down as California Governor

Arnold SchwarzeneggerAfter serving the Californians for seven years as State Governor, Action Superstar and Politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will leave his office Monday and turnover the power to the newly elected Democrat Jerry Brown.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Schwarzenegger expressed no regret for all the decisions he made as Governor despite the huge financial problems the State is currently in right now.

"The important thing with my job that I've had for the last seven years is, you have to have passion... You can't be afraid. You have to recognize very quickly that political risk-taking is not political suicide," said Schwarzenegger.

Perhaps one of the most difficult decisions Schwarzenegger made in 2010 was when the State was forced to pay its’ bills with the IOUs. Last year, California was under economic turmoil, nearly bankrupt with poor credit rating.

Now that Schwarzenegger is no longer the Governor, his fans are wondering if he will be making movies again. He posted a message on twitter last October and said that he is still undecided. The tweet reads, "Will I still have the patience to sit on the set and to do a movie for three months or for six months, all of those things? I don't know."

However, the former governor and “TheTerminator” star has many options aside from making movies. According to him, "I'm financially protected for the rest of my life. But that makes it actually more fun to do things. Because I always believed, never do things just for the money; always do things because you're passionate about it.”

Speaking about passion, we all know that Schwarzenegger is passionate about the movies…who knows we might see him again in the movie screens saying, “I’ll be back!” or “Hasta La Vista Baby!”
