Thanks to a series of tense and troll-y moments with fans, Pete Davidson went ahead and deleted his Instagram yesterday—and now it looks like Ariana Grande is low-key following in his footsteps. While the singer hasn't gone so far as to wipe her account, she did turn off comments—meaning fans can no longer argue about her relationship with Pete on her photos.

The good news is that Ariana appears to be active on Snapchat again, and explained that she hit up the app because she plans to take a break from Instagram and Twitter.

"i’m prolly gonna post on der for a little while & take a breather from twitter & ig for a little," she told a fan. "just sometimes can’t help but bump into some negative shit that really can bum u out and it’s not worth it honestly. promised i’d always tell you. i love u sm ! be well & happy."

She also explained that promoting her music too much in the past "destroyed" her mental health, and asked fans to stop coming for her and her team.

For his part, Pete explained that he deleted Instagram because he thinks the internet is evil and real life is much more "f*cking lit."
