Annual List of Highest-Grossing Actors in 2010

Leonardo DiCaprio <a href=Inception" src="//cfm.yidio.com/images/article/images/artcile_383.jpg" style="margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px; margin-bottom: 5px; float: left; width: 415px; height: 360px; " />Forbes has just released their annual list of “Hollywood's Highest-Grossing Actors” in 2010.  With the benefit of films now being released in 3D, the revenue films are making these days is higher than ever.


Without further ado, here is the list of the top 5 grossing actors in 2010:

In first place: Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo’s films Shutter Island and Inception raked in over $1.1 billion in 2010 making him the highest grossing actor. According to multiple sources, Leonardo is personally going to make over $50 million dollars from these two films.

In a tie for second place: Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp

Mia, a newcomer to the list, starred as Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland along side Johnny Depp which grossed over $1.03 billion in box office sales.  Mia’s second movie, The Kids Are All Right, earned over $29 million on a production that only costed $4 million to make.

Johnny Depp’s also starred in The Tourist, which earned over $29 million in the first week and another $8.7 million in week 2.  Depp's next role is as the voice of a lost chameleon in the animated film Rango.

In fourth place: Robert Downey Jr.

Robert, thanks to Iron Man 2 and the comedy Due Date, made over $808 million in box office sales in 2010.  Iron Man 2 took a large share of this total with grossing $622 million, the seventh highest grossing film in 2010.

In fifth place: Daniel Radcliffe

It seems Daniel can’t miss with the Harry Potter franchise.  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is already the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2010 with $780 million at the global box office.  Now lets see if Daniel can reinvent his carrer outside of Harry Potter.
