Anne Hathaway Discusses Intellectual Orgy With Jake Gyllenhaal While Filming 'Love and Other Drugs'

Anne Hathaway and Jake GyllenhaalIn filmmaking, directors and movie actors do everything they could to portray their characters effectively in the movie. They work together and discuss what is best and not comfortable for the actors particularly on bed scenes.

Anne Hathaway disclosed that in her latest movie “Love and Other Drugs” she became so close with her co-actor Jake Gyllenhaal and openly discussed about their preferences regarding  love and relationship which they call “intellectual orgy.”

Hathaway said, “We talked about our own experiences with love and intimacy, about what turned us on and what didn’t. So, it was completely open from the get-go. Jake described it as a kind of intellectual orgy and I think that sums it up best!”

Furthermore the actress said, “We had to go to a lot of emotionally and physically vulnerable places and we spent a lot of time rehearsing.”

That statement is an assurance that moviegoers have a lot to expect from Hathaway and Gyllenhaal in “Love and Other Drugs.”

There had been speculations that Hathaway might get an Oscar nomination in this movie aside from being chosen as host for the 2011 Academy Awards.

Hathaway also revealed that she is happy with her career and she wants to broaden the horizon of her life to find balance.

The 28-year old actress said, “I’ve always been such a driven person, I work very hard and right now I’m trying to find a balance.”

“On the one hand there’s my job, which I love and which has been my everything for so long, and then there’s making sure the people in my life feel loved and appreciated, and that I spend enough time with them, Let’s say I’m learning to walk the walk,” she added.

Hathaway also said that she really wanted to become a mother but she admits that she is not yet ready. Hathaway believed that being a mother is “one of the joys of life that I’m looking forward to so very much.”
