Anna Torv, Jennifer Jason Leigh to Play Lovers in 'Open'

Anna Torv, Jennifer Jason Leigh to Play Lovers in 'Open' Fresh off the Emmy success of his "American Horror Story: Asylum"—the series collected 17 nominations for the 2013 edition of the awards—writer/producer Ryan Murphy is making news again, this time for the actors he's attracting to his new series, "Open." The racy drama's pilot is scheduled to debut on HBO in the spring of 2014.

The latest additions to the cast of "Open" include Anna Torv and Jennifer Jason Leigh as long-time lovers whose relationship is threatened by the appearance of a third woman, a role that is as yet uncast.

Torv was last seen in "Fringe," the Fox sci-fi thriller series in which she played FBI agent Olivia Dunham. Leigh has most recently appeared in ABC's "Revenge" and "Weeds" on Showtime.

Torv and Leigh join Wes Bentley and Scott Speedman on the cast of "Open." Bentley's most recent credits include "The Hunger Games" and "Lovelace." Speedman was most recently seen in "Last Resort" on ABC.

In "Open," Speedman will play a sports agent who is married to the woman who comes between Torv and Leigh. Details of Bentley's role in the drama are sketchy at this point; we know only that he's an arrogant guy who loves to talk about sex.
