The 'Angry Birds' Movie Has an Amazing Cast, Including 'Game of Thrones' Star Peter Dinklage

"Angry Birds" became such a sensation so quickly that a movie was all but inevitable. Usually, in the case of movies born from product tie-ins, the end result is pretty ugly.

But could the "Angry Birds" movie actually be good?

Even ignoring the fact that Jon Vitti, who writes for "The Simpsons," is writing the script, take a look at the list of cast members who will be providing voices in the movie:

So, just to be clear: "Angry Birds" will have Tyrion, Buster Bluth, Taystee, Olaf the snowman, one half of "Key & Peele," three fantastic former "Saturday Night Live" cast members and one current one, and Kenny f--king Powers.

That's insane.

Perhaps the product tie-in game has changed. Perhaps "The Lego Movie" ushered in a new era of making movies based on toys and games actually good.

In any case, we're interested to see how this one turns out when it hits theaters in July of 2016.
