And The Highest Grossing Actor Of All Time Is....

Quick, who’s the all-time highest grossing actor in Hollywood?

It’s a pretty sure bet you all just guessed incorrectly.

Big-name stars like Will Smith, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Arnold Schwarzenneger and Sylvester Stallone all rank pretty highly, but consult Ezekiel 25:17 to see The Man himself.

Oh, yes. It’s Jules Winfield. Or maybe you’d rather remember him as Mace Windu, the only Jedi who had his lightsaber personally engraved “BMF” – just so it matches his wallet.

Probably largely because he has seemingly been in just about every other movie ever released, Samuel L. Jackson has grossed more than any other actor in Hollywood history, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Over a career that’s included hits like “Jungle Fever,” “Pulp Fiction” and three of the six major “Star Wars” films, Jackson has starred in films grossing a total of $7.42 billion. Consider this: at 62 years old, he films an average three to four movies per year. He was in six 2010 films, four this past year, and three scheduled for 2012, according to the New York Daily News.

"I grew up in a working class family," Jackson said.

"When I was a kid, all the adults in my house got up and went to work every day. I assumed that's what grown people do. That's what I do. I just happen to have a very interesting job that's kind of cool!"
