Amy Schumer had to cancel her show in Texas on Thursday after she was unexpectedly hospitalized with hyperemesis gravidarum.

“Texas I am so deeply sorry. I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital,” she wrote, adding that both she and the baby are fine.

Hyperemesis gravidarum is a severe type of nausea and vomiting that can occur during pregnancy.

“Everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows,” the 37-year-old wrote. “Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bullshit!”

Schumer, who’s pregnant with her first baby, thanked the doctors and nurses taking care of her, writing, “They are cool as hell!”

She also promised she would reschedule her show in Dallas as soon as she gets better.

The comedian announced her pregnancy last month via journalist Jessica Yellin’s Instagram story. The news was written after a list of candidates they recommended people vote for in the general election in November.
